Welcome to Sweet Earth Worm Farm! We're a small Grass Valley-based business dedicated to nourishing our soil by raising worms and producing high-quality vermicastings. By sourcing food scraps from local businesses, we keep waste out of landfills, and our red wiggler worms do the rest! Our hard-working worms transform organic waste into nutrient-rich castings packed with microbial life that feeds fertile soil and helps plants thrive. We take pride in the care we show towards our worms, the attention to the quality of our castings and, most importantly, to our contribution to a healthy and sustainable future for our community and planet.
The Worm Mamas
We are "The Worm Mamas" (also known as Uta and Corinne). We are two teachers, with a deep love for nature and a passionate drive to have a positive impact on the world. When we are not at school teaching Garden classes, Nature Studies or Spanish, we are busy making compost, churning out top-notch worm castings and raising happy red wigglers. Sweet Earth Worm Farm is a venture based on passion and a commitment to fostering healthier soil, sustainable practices, and a brighter, greener future.
